I forgot to tell everyone something very exciting... My cool friend (who I visited with in Vancouver) brought me some really great gifts from Japan.

One of those gifts was magnetic hirigana. Now I can make limited haiku on my refrigerator!

She also brought me some cool socks which will enable me to wear thong-type sandals. It might look a little strange but at least I won't be as annoyed by the straps between my toes...
